Gaze

Mary Franck (in person) - 2009, USA

Using video tracking, "Gaze" explores new possibilities of the gaze through digital technology, suspending the subject/object dichotomy: the work is looking at you. The effect is a juxtaposition of intimacy and surveillance.

Mary Franck is a new media artist who explores the aesthetic and social possibilities and implications of digital technology through interactivity programming, digital video, and physical computing.
